Kroma A/S has been working on machines for the fish industry ever since 1973 when the first Ravnstrup gutting machine was developed.
It was designed by Ejnar Sørensen and Kroma A/S produced machines and components for their development. Simultaneously with the development of the gutting machine, Ejnar Sørensen operated Ravnstrup Mølle, which bred and sold trout.
In 1987 Kroma purchased all rights concerning the sale and production of the Ravnstrup machine. Over the years approximately 150 Ravnstrup machines were built and many of them are constantly in operation. There are, however, more and more manufacturers that switch to our popular GUTMASTER 1200 gutting machine.
In 2002 Kroma was taken over by Søren Smed and Ivan Kristensen. Since the takeover a lot of emphasis has been placed on the development of new and innovative products for the processing industry. |
